 ACME ICE WINDER

The Acme Ice-Winder is new for the 2023-2024 ice fishing season.  The new Ice-Winder flutter spoon can be jigged with quick, short lifts of the rod, creating an upward darting action followed by a fall with a fluttering action to imitate an injured or scared baitfish.  Slower jigging strokes allow the spoon a unique rocking motion that triggers stubborn fish.

The Dakota Angler Ice Institute was started in 2008 to give ice fishermen an opportunity to see the latest and greatest in the ice fishing industry and also learn from the experts on how to use the equipment. What once started as an event that attracted a small number of people has grown into the second-largest ice fishing show in the Nation.

Throughout the years, the Ice Institute has had a number of professors share their knowledge with those who have attended. This year's speaker lineup is looking exciting, with appearances from Dewey Hjelm, the 2022 NWT Angler of the Year, Jason Durham, Brad Hawthorne, Marcus Quam, Wes David, Will Pappenfus, Matt Johnson, and Brian Brosdahl.
