"I catch more fish on Cleo’s and Kastmasters than almost anything else when ice fishing but they work great in open water too. Rip them off the bottom and just expect bone-crushing strikes. They catch the slobs man!"
John Gillespie started his television career as a sportscaster and worked in TV newsrooms from 1972 thru 1990. "Kalin's assortment of soft plastics straight up catch fish. Great profiles and actions, the right colors and heavy salt and garlic taste combine to make baits that work everywhere we travel. Hard to pick a favorite but I have caught so many big walleyes on Sizmic Shads and the Wac-O Worm catches bass no matter what."

"Every fisherman has his or her favorite techniques whether it's on the ice or in the boat; mine is jigging. Acme tackle has the best lineup of jigging baits on the market. If you are trying to coax that finicky walleye through the ice, hands down, I turn to the Kastmaster or up my game with the Rattlemaster. These baits are sure to turn lookers into eaters! Part of jigging is getting that reaction bite and no bait does that well than the Hyperglide; which has been a go-to bait for me both on the ice and in the boat."
As a kid who loves the outdoors, dreams of becoming a professional athlete didn’t cross my mind. What did was becoming a professional fisherman and in 2013 this became reality for me with the start of Fishaddictions.com. We are currently filming Season 3 of FishaddictionsTV, which airs on FoxSports North and FoxSports Wisconsin, covering the upper Midwest and beyond. FishAddictionsTV is about friends, family and fun on the water.
What’s my favorite body of water? Hands down, I would have to say Lake of the Woods. I have spent countless hours exploring Lake of the Woods and it holds a soft spot in my heart this is where I learned most of what I know and it has endless places to find that next bite.
What are my favorite baits? I always start out with a Rattlemaster or Kastmaster spoon through the ice whether I am fishing panfish or chasing walleye as I feel we can get a clear picture of how the fish are going to respond to this quick presentation. It may be negative, where the fish shy away and down size; or I may get a strong positive response, meaning the fish are ready to feed.
Whats one piece of advise I would give any angler to put more fish topside? As easy as it sounds, I would recommend being confident in the bait you are presenting, if you have confidence then you will present that bait more efficiently and effectively.
"The Kastmaster is my number one choice for ice fishing for a variety of species. They come in a variety of sizes so I can go small for crappie or go large for walleye and other game fish. They catch everything!"

"It’s no secret that Kastmasters and Cleos catch giant walleye all over the great lakes, but they work great on open water too for fish not just found on the big pond. They can be deadly for crappie, bass, and others in open water when fishing in deeper water."

"Pike fishing is in our name and we chase them all ice season long. When it comes to tip-ups, we’ve tried them all. No matter the conditions, nothing has held up better than our Beaver Dam tip-ups… In fact I still have some my great-grandfather used! Now that’s quality you don’t get in other products."

"I'm on the water 300+ days a year, guiding open water and ice fishing. The Acme product line is the most diverse line of lures that I've ever used. From catching crappies in 5' of water on the Hyper-Glide to jigging up Lake Trout in 200'+ of water on the Kastmaster! No matter the species and situation these lures will get the job done!"
